We became functional as a registered Charity the 8th December 2016. The purpose of the charity is:
I. to promote and protect the physical and mental health of sufferers of Sepsis, also referred to as blood poisoning or septicaemia, in the Isle of Man, through the provision of support and advice.
II. to support those in the Isle of Man affected either directly or indirectly by Sepsis
III. to advance the education of the public in the Isle of Man in the subject of Sepsis
Therefore, we seek creative ways to engage the public and addressing audiences and training groups on the Isle of Man. Through sharing Ann’s ‘Sepsis’ tribute and Ali’s survival story we aim to raise awareness about Sepsis. Such teaching sessions can usually be done from 20 minutes to an hour.
